Replace Nissan Key Fob Batteries

If your Nissan key fob isn't responding properly to your instructions, it's most likely that its battery is dead. This is a simple repair that a majority of people can complete themselves.

You can get an upgrade from a hardware store, or in your owner's guide for the specific model you own and then follow these steps for changing the battery.

Change the battery

The key fob in your Nissan model is equipped with a built-in battery that can eventually lose its charge.
