Cheap Single Pushchairs

If you're on a tight budget and don't want a stroller that can double as a car seat carrier, the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It features a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's easy to push, and it is solid when walking along woodland paths and kerbs. Plus, it's a dream to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a name as the ultimate light-weight buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, due to its extremely nimble handling and fold that fits in the overhead luggage of aeroplanes. The latest version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels made from Hytrel elastomer that allows it to perfectly navigate across all types of surfaces and terrain'.

The base YOYO2 frame with a curved fabric bassinet as well as a six-month colour pack come together to create a stylish pushchair that's easy to look at and has a subtle but elegant design and a tasteful branding. The base frame weighs less than a kilogram, and is so light it is able to be lifted from the box with just one hand.

The hood, for example is able to snap onto the YOYO2 in a calm manner. It is machine washable up to 30 degrees which helps prevent staining caused by smushed and mashed rice cakes and carrot puffs. 2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great option for parents who want a versatile stroller wagon. The Evenflo Pivot can be transformed from a stroller to a wagon by simply flipping the handle. Parents can then choose which one is the best single stroller fit for their needs. The wagon can hold two or more children from 6 months to 5 years old, and it comes with a spacious storage basket for all of your on-the-go needs.

The Xplore also has two canopies that rotate from front to back, ensuring ample sun coverage for all family members. It also has a footwell that is not as deep or large as other wagons, so it may not be suitable for long trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore feels sturdy and solid but it doesn't have as much flexibility as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the other models and it doesn't lock tightly when folded. It is easy to move however, and can fit through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents looking for a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and size folded, which means it's very lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to move into a trunk of a car or closet. It also has an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as a parent cup holder. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

In our test of the push and turn, it did better than many of the other strollers of a similar price we tested, but it's still not the most comfortable to maneuver over uneven ground or through doorways that are narrow. The sunshades it has were among the tiniest of strollers we tested. They only cover the top, and do not have peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger sunshades.

It took us just under 3 minutes to put together the Delta with a standard manual. All of the components required tools. It's missing certain features we believe are essential in double strollers. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the most recent version of Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is billed as an urban travel system. It can be used from birth to around 3.5-years-old. The carrycot and seat can be easily converted in only a few clicks. It is compatible with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in-car-base and a reversible baby carriage.

The seat reclines with one hand, and the big shopping basket makes it simple for parents to take their child in and out. Although it is a small pushchair, it was able to handle the everyday bumps well and was able to pass through doorways without fuss.

The front wheels can be locked in a forward position or allow them to rotate which can be helpful when crossing rough terrain. When we walked through the stony trail, we let them move and it did this quite well although it did seem more bumpy than the other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is known for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler pushchairs for jogging, but they also make a good assortment of strollers with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It folds easily and can fit into the car's boot even with an attached carrycot.

It's heavier than other strollers we've test, but since it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all types of terrain. It's also a breeze to lift, even when loaded with two children and a shopping bag.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that are able to be lower to reveal a UV50+ sun canopy extension. They are waterproof and strong, unlike some other pram hoods that are turned back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space but it has a large basket deep enough to hold a changing bag or plenty of groceries. You can also connect it with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for infants up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you require a stroller that is able to be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent option.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first rolled onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents across the world. It's a stroller made of aluminum that can be used from baby's first days to beyond. It has a number of distinctive features like the ability to flip the seat between parent and the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy with an eye-shade that flips out and a spacious basket as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis is equipped with an integrated suspension system which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed of tough foam and reduce punctures. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets without difficulty.

It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It also stands and can be trolleyed for easier transport in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. It also comes equipped with the option to add a car seat or carrycot with the adaptors included. The brakes come with only one action and are colour coded. They also are compatible with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This single pushchair that is budget-friendly is surprisingly easy to handle and has great dual suspension, one-hand fold and a convenient carry strap. It's also extremely light and robust. The seat can be reclined into many different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress built in that is suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat comes with two big sun visors that are fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal because it's not as quiet as Velcro, and can cause sleepy babies to wake up.

The Duet is a angled stroller that can be used by twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and works with a few carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be placed so that they face each other. They can also be oriented towards the parents. This should reduce sibling disputes over who gets seated with mom and dad. It comes with a large gear tray with a bottle holder as well as snack tray. It also comes with an automatic frame lock and a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal jogger for parents who love to be active. It's among the lightest strollers for running that you can buy for your child. It also comes with excellent safety features, like a 5-point safety harness and wrist safety strap. It comes with a different kind of hand brake that is different from other models, which is an innovative twist.

The seat is comfortable and has plenty of room to sit, but the seat's depth is not as deep as other joggers that we've tested (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin is covered with a zipper that keeps things safe. It can hold up to 10 pounds., which is sufficient for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters that will fit the majority of infant car seats and bassinets, but you can use them from the first day using adapters that work with brands such as BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds compactly and takes about 5-10 minutes to put together with no tools. The manual is simple to read and contains a variety of languages.
