The new Pace boasts some fantastic design touches such as the rose gold tint of the chassis, hood and stroller trims, which really set it apart from its competitors. The car seat and stroller fabrics are stylish in grey, tan, and cream. You can also add a leather handle and bumper bar to complement.

The stroller seat can be used from birth until a maximum weight of 22kg. It can easily be converted into a reversible 2-in-1 position, either facing the parent or world-facing. The stroller seat offers multiple lying positions, a soft padded leg rest support and comes with an extended sun canopy that has concealed zip sections, viewing through flaps and a retractable sun visor section.

When folded in half, the Pace measures up at 56 x 43 x 32cm which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair, among others. Two buttons on either side are easy to use and click to lock it in the right position.

It's also much quieter than many pushchairs and I felt comfortable using it on busy city streets. Another benefit is that it incorporates accessory points, meaning you can add footmuffs parasols, changing bags and even a tray for snacks. You can also use the hood to block wind and rain, although it's not particularly waterproof. The single pram can be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) that gives your child more legroom. The bassinet took about 20 minutes to set-up, and it took the same amount of time to transform it into an actual seat.
