It is very fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It cleans the carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways in one go. Its 8,000pa motor is able to clean dirt hair, pet hair, and even droppings easily. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects rugs and the dual side brush assists in removing debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, isn't as impressive. The rotating mop spins at a high speed and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, easily cleaning up dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a little more than other robots. This is useful when getting into tight corners or on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to collect larger pieces of debris, such as books and toys that have been damaged.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mop I've tried. It doesn't create the same volume of sound when mopping or vacuuming, and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it has to use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It is simple to install, and it works well. However should you purchase this robot vacuum for mopping it is important to be aware of this.

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum cleaner vacuum that mops in our review, but it comes with some distinct features that make it worth a look. The X1 Omni is notable for its huge dock that serves as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses a 2.5-liter dust bin as well as an 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base has several control buttons, which allow you to manually start cleaning tasks and then recall the robot or run the dock's automatic hoover emptying procedure. Press two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a great feature for parents worried about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during a cleaning session. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad, except that the mopping pad isn't cleaned or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

On the bright side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a huge difference from the utilitarian black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. And it's an impressive sight in the market that is dominated by boxy units.
