Greenpower powered mobility scooter - All-Energy Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicles

Greenpower develops and builds, as well as distributes a complete range of low-floor and high-floor all-electric medium and heavy-duty vehicles. This includes school buses, transit buses, cargo buses, buses for cargo and shuttles.

GreenPower Motor Company produces a full line of high-floor as well as low-floor all-electric heavy-duty and medium-duty vehicles. Their flagship vehicle is the EV Star Cab & Chassis platform, which can accommodate many different bodies and upfits for a variety of applications. The platform's design philosophy of clean sheets allows for the optimal placement of battery packs and a lower center of gravity, which results in better payload-to-range ratios.

The EV Star REEFERX was developed for mid-to-last mile refrigerated deliveries as well as catering applications. The class 4 refrigerated truck's one wall structure in the interior and higher insulation than traditional trucks allows for seamless sanitation, better temperature control, and a longer life. The EV Star REEFERX offers superior cargo capacity and an industry-leading payload to reach the range of zero-emission freight or passenger transport.

GreenPower has partnered with Perrone Robotics to up-fit the EV Star with their TONY (To Navigate You) autonomous vehicle system. This will allow fleets to easily change to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star will also be able of wireless charging of 75 kW.

We had the chance to test drive the EV9 for several hours on a local freeway and found it to be easy to drive and green Mobility scooter comfortable for long distances. The EV9 can be used to block the sound of traffic and wind driving on the highway. It glides effortlessly over ruts and humps. The acceleration of the vehicle is astonishingly quick, Green mobility scooter and it features adjustable regenerative brakes to enable "one-pedal driving" simply by taking off the accelerator.

The EV9 has a great range and can be fully recharged in about three hours at home, or using any commercial charger. Drivers have the option of choosing between two modes of operation that include eco mode and sports mode. The eco mode prioritizes the torque and cruise control and the sport mode maximizes speed and handling. Both are a lot of fun to drive and offer an unique experience for anyone who has never driven an electric scooter green vehicle before.

GreenPower offers a variety of other electric vehicles, including a multipurpose all-electric minibus, called the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA compliant and can be utilized as an executive shuttle, micro-transit or transit vanpool, bus or paratransit vehicle.

GreenPower produces around 10 EV Star busses a month for Jacksonville Transit Authority. The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their fleet of diesel vehicles with 100 electric Mobility Scooter fastest cars. GreenPower will increase production to meet the demands of the Biden Administration, which is looking to electrify all school buses in America. Their EV Star bus is the first of its kind to be Altoona-tested and FMVSS-certified, Buy America compliant and ADA compliant. This will make them eligible for federal transit grants.
