Revitalizing Chicago Community News

An emerging generation of reporters are driving the way to revive local news coverage, and help to mitigate threats to the democratic process. Our aim is to find unprecedented resources for bolstering proven solutions while removing long-standing inequities in the coverage of journalism and its practice.

Recent graduates and students launched an Austin Harvest produce market at the permanent location this week. The market brings the arts and a sense of community to an area previously known for its gun violence.
