The wagon can accommodate one or two children from 6 months to 5 years, and it comes with a large storage basket that can accommodate everything you require on the go.

The Xplore also has two canopies that rotate from front to back, providing ample sun coverage for all family members. It also has a footwell that is not as deep or wide as other wagons, which means it may not be suitable for long trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, but it doesn't bend as much as other wagons we test. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the other models and it doesn't secure when folded. It is easy to move however, and can fit through doors that are narrower than 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and folded size which means it's light, compact when folded and easy to put into a trunk of a car or closet. It also has an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

It performed better in our push and turn test than a lot of the other strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the most compact we tested, with only a direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to assemble with an average manual and no components required tools. It is missing certain features we consider essential for a double stroller. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the newest addition to Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is billed as an urban travel system. It is designed to take baby from birth up to approximately 3.5 years, converting easily into a seat and carrycot in just only a few clicks. It is compatible with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and a reversible baby carriage.

The seat can be reclined with one hand, and the big shopping basket makes it simple for parents to take their child in and out. Despite this being quite a narrow pushchair it handled the everyday bumps with ease and went through doorways without fuss.

The front wheels can be locked in forward positions or allow them to swivel which helps when covering rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to rotate on our walk along the stony path. It handled the situation well, though it did seem slightly bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is best single buggy known for its three-wheeled, all-terrain, jogging strollers. But they also manufacture a vast range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is easy to fold and fits easily in the car's boot even with an attached carrycot.

It's a bit heavier than other strollers that we tried, but the wheels are rubber composite so it feels well-made and sturdy. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains and even with two children with shopping bags and other items.

The carrycot and the seat both come with hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams, which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space but it has a large basket deep enough to hold a change bag or plenty of groceries. You can also connect it with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a good choice if you want to use a stroller on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that captured the hearts of many parents when it first came out. It's a frame made of aluminum that will be with you throughout your baby's early days and beyond. It's got a lot of standout features, like the capacity of the seat to flip between the parent and the world, a large UPF50+ canopy with an eye-shade that flips out, as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are durable and foam-filled which minimises punctures. The chassis also has built-in suspension which takes the sting out of bumpy terrain. It was easy to push and our tester was able to maneuver the car through the narrow streets.
