How to Replace an audi a3 key replacement G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor
The grey wire is located on the outside of the transmission, directly above the flywheel ring. The sensor transmits a signal via the grey wire to pin T55/49. The ECU then uses this information to control the boost, fuel, and timig. It also sends signals to the G5 tachometer in the instrument cluster.
The sensor serves as a reference point to connect with the G40 Camshaft Position Sensor. The ecu has to be aware of when the crankshaft has reached TDC and also the location of the camshaft in order to activate the spark and injectors.
If this sensor fails the ECU will display the P00160 error, which means the Crank Shaft and Intake Camshaft are out of sync and possibly indicating the chain is stretched or a jump link on the upper chain of timing. However, the error code won't appear on its own without additional information from other sensors (G4 and G40).
It's a bit tricky to test because there are different pins on the connector and each has its own functions. The most effective method to test it is to measure the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. When the sensor is operational, it should read approximately 1000 ohms. Look for signs of coolant or oil in the connector bay if you have issues with this component.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating at full speed from the highway paytoll i had a big cut in power as if the engine was running out of gas or injectors aren't firing any more. Today, i pulled out the spark plugs, three were drenched with gazoline the 4th one was dry. I placed a tissue over each hole in the injector Programming Audi Key and when i start the engine with no sparks, the ones with gazoline jump out. The fourth one remains shut. I checked the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I found zero ohm. I assume that the problem is somewhere else.
I also tried to reset PID but without success. The car will start when the G28 is unplugged, and it is running fine with the G28 connected. However, the intermittent misfire problem persists at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature value of -49c even when i unplug it. I also noticed that the gauge for oil pressure in the cockpit is showing 2 bar while the actual pressure is 0.0 if i crank up the engine.
I don't know what to do. I think I've ruled everything else out. But i am afraid I might have missed something. Please let me know if you have any ideas! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump of the g28 gets a signal from the RPM sensor. The GM-style sender is the same as the G4 and they both work in the 80 100, 200, UrS and RS2 cars so you can easily find one at a junkyard or at a parts store. It is easy to test them - just put your DMM into resistance mode and determine the distance between pins 1 and 2 (with the bump at the connector's end facing up). They should be infinite Ohms.

Our 20vt turbo (3B, AAN, ABY and ADU) engines are equipped with an ECU that needs to know the speed and position of the crankshaft in order to make decisions about timing of the fuel injectors, etc. In order to do this it makes use of a Crank Position Sensor (G4) and an Engine Speed Sensor (G28).
