World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.

For instance an item with the upgrade template that ends in % will suffer an attack damage of 3% each time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).

Item upgrading costs crests and the item's current level. The cost increases as the level of the item increases.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be inserted into armor, weapons, and trinkets to give an additional stat boost or impact while they're being used. They can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors or trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment with a slot. The item must be upgraded to a blue level before the component can be used. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and Enrichments are a kind of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or Ascended equipment, as well other items that are not ascended. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade could have a prefix or suffix changing the name of the item to the upgrade (for instancethe "Canthan Armor Insignia' becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity, which allows players to create stronger versions of that equipment that require fewer Upgrade Crystals than would be required to achieve the same level of upgrade using normal methods.

A boost upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades can be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene, and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. They can be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear, or by buying them from the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals per.

The player is able to have a maximum of five boost upgrades at one time; each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-tier version of the item will be available during the next reset. This gives players the opportunity to upgrade their gear, even when they're not sure how much it will be improved after an update.

If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process may be costly and there is a high chance that the item could be obsolete or even break if it fails. A failure to upgrade can destroy Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the possibility of failure. Some upgrades also offer the player a bonus if they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade parts that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs increase the effectiveness of all nodes in the area around them, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in various ways, and we suggest getting them up to level 15 whenever you can.

You'll often see in the final game that placing Glyphs is a great method to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded directly to level 15, and they provide significant boosts to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes faster.

Glyphs, the sole upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and then replaced again are the most popular. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt with the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain gathering tools that are unlimited-use as well as through Faction Crypt raids. Each Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you will need them to be placed on your equipment. Each Glyph will grant a distinct bonus that can boost a particular set of stat nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to increase the effectiveness of certain items by placing upgraded components inside them. This is often referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned an amount that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum of 385 ilvl. Each level of an item requires a different amount of components to be reached and the costs for upgrading increase as the item gets leveled up.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab in the crafting table. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns some Technology Points. These points can be used to leveling up an item. When enough points have been earned you will be eligible to claim the upgrade and receive its additional bonuses.

When the player upgrades an Best item upgrader to a higher level, the original item is replaced with a new item of the same type. This means that the same armor piece will get a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own bonus. This can be a disadvantage because it can make the item more expensive, even if you don't need it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can reroll item upgrades. The item will be replaced with an entirely new item upgrade that has a level 1 basis and completely different bonuses. This is useful for some items, but it's not something that should be repeated often, as it can waste lots of resources.

Certain upgrades can increase their value and allow players to modify their gear. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an increase in power when a player repeatedly enters and exits water (or is able to swim like dolphins). This can be upgraded several times, each time increasing the max roll by 10 points. This Best item upgrader is very useful in PvP. A perfectly rolled version could be worth 50 times the value of a non-upgraded counterpart.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to increase the level of their equippable gear--armor, weapons and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currencies to an NPC that upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also improve the strength of their base defense and weapon upgrades items increase the damage they deal as well as the required strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero equipment, which is able to be upgraded eight times. Each time you upgrade an object, it is at risk of failing. The failure rate increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will cause the item to return to its initial state which means that the player has to purchase more resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item is not able to upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it gained, such as the chance to crit, attack damage, or additional effects (such as a higher healing rate over time or reloading speed). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to the highest. This means that if a weapon gains an increase in crit chance, the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a new attribute that has been added to the definitions of items. The value is calculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a standard equipment item may have five upgrades with a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items will have the lowest cost for each upgrade.

Premium items may have different upgrade requirements from regular gear. For example they might require less sowels, but they will require more minerals and orons. The player will need to bring every piece of gear they wish to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade to equipment will require different amounts of ingredients needed to upgrade, in addition to the cost that are listed above.
