MadeForMums tested the Cybex Avi Spin for us and had the opportunity to take it out with one of Australia's top middle distance runners, Genevieve Gregson who recently became mother to her daughter. We asked her what she thought about the pram and if there was anything that could be improved.

The Avi Spin is an all-terrain stroller that has the flexibility needed by modern families from day one. The front swivel 3 wheel all terrain buggy is unparalleled for maneuverability in tight city corners and the air-filled tyres offer comfortable cushioning for city strolls, nature walks or even runs. The swivel can be locked to provide extra stability on uneven terrain or when running. The fully reclined seat offers an ergonomic lying flat position that's suitable for infants from birth. The one-pull strap makes it easier to get in and out of the seat, while the Compact all-terrain stroller folding design makes it easy to store or transport. Wheels can be removed to make smaller fold. It's a pity the brake lever is on the right side of the handlebar as this can make it hard to apply with a single hand.

Out N About Nipper v5

With the Out N About Nipper V5, you can take your child on adventurous off-road strolls and smooth jogs in complete comfort. The assembly process is relatively simple, and the manual provides clear, easy-to-follow instructions. The only criticisms are that the hoods are loud and clunky, and the Velcro used to close them could cause your baby to wake up. It's not cheap and you may have to find a cheaper deal if you want to use it from birth. It's also very heavy, so you might need someone to help you move it into your car. There are a few tiny honeycomb-like areas that are exposed at the bottom of the seat that could become the perfect breeding ground for vomit and spilled drinks.
