Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are a great way to get gear, weapons and more. They're not easy to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot permits you to carry pistols on the course of. Some players use it to help them reach certain goals, especially those who aim for Suit Only. Some players use the extra pistol to bridge the gap. Gear Slot

The game's beginning players will notice their gear slots quickly fill up, leading to the dreaded "Your Gear Slots are Full" message, which blocks Max from selecting new equipment until old items are cleared or a larger space is found. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenges. Since a lot of these challenges are not completed and are scattered across the world, it may take a while to get the maximum number inventory slots in the game.

A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to 5 different types of gear. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In begins. Each gear item (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades that are of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations let you keep items that aren't suitable in your concealed weapon or gear slot and retrieve them later.

These pickups are especially useful if you need to pass through a frisk later in the course of your mission or if you're carrying a weapon that might otherwise cause suspicion. You can only hide one item at a pickup location.

This DLC adds new contracts to asset protection and security to the agency. To begin these missions simply talk to the receptionist at the agency and stock up on armor and snacks. Then, walk to the designated marker and identify a mob upon arrival.
