If you are a fan of going for an outing, hike along trails that are rocky or stroll through grassy parks then an all terrain travel system-terrain stroller is the perfect choice. You will want big, sturdy tires with suspension that can handle the tumultuous terrain.

It's a bit more costly than our other choices, but it feels solid, and has many features (car seat compatible! dual cup holders!) that makes it a worthy investment. The BOB Sport Utility

The BOB Sport Utility is the perfect stroller for parents who want to go off the beaten track and exercise. This jogging stroller features pneumatic knobby tires that are ideal for running trails and a hand brake that lets you manage the downhills. It also features a state-of the-art suspension system, a two-step folding design, and an enormous cargo basket. If you buy the correct adapters you can pair it with a child car seat.

The main drawback of this jogging stroller is its weight and size when folded. It weighs 25 pounds and folds to 17,850 cubic inches which is the standard for this group. The size of its footprint makes it unsuitable for tight turns and narrow trunk space. It does however have small handles in the rear of the storage bin that can be pulled to fold the stroller into a compact flat position.

This stroller is simple to maneuver, despite its size. Its front wheel has an locking mechanism that lets you switch it from normal to locked jogging mode. The handlebar has adjustable height settings to accommodate different heights of parents. It has a wide seat that can be retracted to almost flat and a large window made of vinyl.

The Sport Utility also scored a 9 out of 10 for its exceptional quality. It has a thick frame made of aluminum with strong connections, no rough edges and no poor stitching. It also has adjustable dampers that help in the smoothness of the rolling.

Like the other BOB strollers reviewed in this review, the Sport Utility has optional car seat adapters that allow you to use it with various infant car seats. It took us 5 hours and 24 minutes in our tests to assemble the stroller, from packing it up to getting it ready to go. It was easy enough to complete, however you'll need a Philips head screwdriver to complete the task. The instruction manual included is clear and well-organized, however it's a good idea to have one on hand in the case.

The Baby Trend Expedition

Created with style, safety features and convenience in mind, this jogger features a parent tray with 2 cup holders, a covered storage and a swing away tray for the child that includes two cup holders. The adjustable canopy with a peek-a-boo window and the extra-wide ergonomically designed handle are comfortable for both parents. The lockable front swivel wheel can be locked to jog, but unlocked to stroll. The large storage basket can hold essential travel necessities.

In the Strollers test program of Consumer Reports, the Baby Trend Expedition jogger performs well in general for the price and scores higher than many of its competitors in several categories. The 5-point harness, folding, unfolding backrest, adjusting the backrest and engaging brakes on the wheel and infant car seat installation and removal (only compatible models) are all included. It's a basic design, with a single-handed recline that's deep enough for napping. However, the ratcheting canopy cover isn't always easy to secure. It takes about 8 minutes to set it up. The instructions are confusing, with several languages mixed in with difficult-to-read illustrations.

The only drawback to this stroller is the lack of suspension. This means that the ride could be more bumpy than other strollers that are all-terrain. This could make it more uncomfortable for young kids, especially when they're on the verge of napping. It does have air-filled tires but they don't have the same shock absorption as the rubber wheels you find on strollers that are more expensive.

This is a great choice for those who don't exercise often but still want to be able to move easily over gravel or grass without worrying about obstructions like curbs or other obstacles. It's also a great option for families with limited space as it folds into the size of a compact unit. It's lighter than many of the other joggers we've tested, and will fit in places where some large strollers aren't able to.

Another benefit is that it is more easy to carry and lift than the larger joggers we've tried. This is crucial for if you need to lift it out and into your trunk frequently or if you are always moving.

It has a small shopping pouch to the rear of the seat, but it wouldn't be big enough for an enormous changing bag. It is very easy to open and close. Two hand-holds are required to open the plastic catch on either side of the lower frame. The red handlebar is equipped with a secondary lock that can be opened using just one hand.
