Lightest Double Stroller

If you're looking for a light double-stroller that folds, the dimensions and weight are key factors to consider. When you are not using it, select one that is easy to maneuver and compact. This will allow it to store in your car trunk, and also to navigate through airport gates and foreign roads.

The most lightweight twin buggy strollers have a simple, easy fold that allows them to stand on their own. This helps reduce stress on the parent's body. Many strollers have multiple seating configurations and some can even accommodate car seats for infants.

Kolcraft Cloud Plus

The design is geared towards families on the move. Lightweight with a convenient one-hand compact fold. The all-terrain wheels and front suspension as well as the multi-position reclining seats can be used for children up 50 pounds. The tray for parents and kids as well as a large storage bin and a three-tiered canopy that has a the peekaboo window offer maximum sun protection.

The Cloud scored one of the lowest scores in our tests of quality because it has a flimsy, hard plastic seat and a design that appears outdated. It's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter which is why it's not the best choice if you're looking for a budget alternative.

While it's not the most light double stroller, it has enough features that are worth a look. The swiveling wheels make it easy for you to navigate it on flat surfaces. It can also jump curbs without much effort. The Cloud's low handle is a disadvantage however, as it's at knee height, and not adjustable. It's uncomfortable to push your legs dangling in the air like that and it's also not helping that it lacks padding.

During testing, we found that the Cloud was easy to set up and open. It's a little more challenging to close the cloud, however. You must slide a slider before you push a large white button to get it to collapse. It can be quite frustrating particularly if you're trying to keep track of kids while doing it.

The Cloud comes with a small but deep storage basket that could accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. The basket is a bit narrow, and you may need to leave something in there to reach the back. The Cloud comes with two tray for parents and a child tray each with two cup holders. But both are too narrow for larger bottles or cups.

Kolcraft is a family-owned business that has been in operation since 1946. They started by making diapers and crib pads, but now they manufacture several baby products, including highchairs and infant car seats. The company is located in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS

Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist design that's perfect for trips. It's super light at just 18lbs (lighter than many single strollers!) and folds flat for easy transport and storage. It also has independently reclined seats and large all-weather SPF 50 sun visors with large windows with peekaboos and under seat storage bags. The visors can be adjusted to fit kids of various heights. It also has a one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-sized approved.

The swivel wheels on the Jeep are also great to maneuver over bumps and uneven surfaces. The stroller does not accept car seats, so your little ones must be 6+ months old and have solid neck control to be able to ride in the front seat. It does come with three panels of a nice sun canopy, however, and each seat has its own snack tray as well as cup holders for parents.

Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is another incredibly lightweight stroller that can be used side by side. It's a bit heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 lbs, but it's narrow and slim (26.5 inches wide!) and is packed with luxurious features that make it perfect for travel. It folds easily and is very mobile. It fits easily in overhead compartments and the trunks of airplanes.

Similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold, ultralight double stroller. It's similar to Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has a few key differences. It's also a little more expensive, but it has better maneuverability and has a larger sun canopy. It also has a convenient carry strap and can hold kids up to 44 lbs per seat.

Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+

If you're looking for a stroller that is light but packed with features you'll find it in the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just lightweight, weighing just 13 pounds but also comes with a ton of storage space, including cup holders for the parent and child as well as a sippy-cup pouch for children as well as a pocket for storage for parents, etc. It can also be used with the car seat of a child and has an easy-to-engage brake that is flip-flop friendly. It's designed to evolve with your children from a baby stroller to an adult stroller by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children aged 6 months old and up.

This stroller only has swivel wheels and no locking feature and therefore may not be the best option for steep or rocky terrain. It's still a good option for most families, as it can be easily maneuvered on paved surfaces and other smooth surfaces.
