Best Lightweight Single Stroller

This is the lightest and most compact travel stroller available. Its sleek design allows it to fold into a chic rectangle shape and the wheels are much easier to turn than other models.

It also has an under-seat storage space and an adjustable shoulder strap that makes it easy to carry around if you're not pushing it. But the canopy adjustment can cause a lot of noise, which can wake a sleepy toddler.

1. Contours Itsy

The Contours Itsy is a compact stroller that has a variety of features for its size. The back basket under the seat features a spring-loaded mechanism, so you can push the basket down to put the backpack or diaper bag and then it will open up to secure its contents. It also comes with a tray for accessories for children as well as an adjustable backrest pad for the seat that offer more options than you normally find on a lightweight stroller.

Additionally, it has an impressive canopy that can open and close to give you the sun-protection you require. Additionally, the handlebar is height-adjustable in four positions for a comfortable fit. We weren't as impressed with its ride quality over rough surfaces. We found that the suspension and wheels did not do a good job of absorbing bumps and shocks.

The stroller is ideal for travel because it comes fully assembled in the box. It requires only a few simple steps to be ready to use. 2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus

This stroller is a great choice for those who need a lightweight travel stroller. It has all of the features that parents want in a stroller. This includes all-terrain tires and front suspension for a smooth ride. It's also extremely light, weighing less than 12 pounds. It has a simple fold that can be folded with one hand and a self-standing fold. It has two cup holders on each tray to accommodate parents and children.

Its design isn't good, and it didn't do well in our maneuverability test. It also has a swivel frame that makes pushing it over rough terrain feel like lifting a heavy weight. This might be fine for those who only use the stroller on smooth paths, but for the majority of people, it's likely to not provide a comfortable experience.

The Cloud Plus features a three-tiered extended canopy with an open window that provides additional sun protection. The seat is multi-position and can accommodate children up to 50 pound and uses a 5-point safety restraint system. This is a great feature for older toddlers who have outgrown their infant car seats.

It's small and folds in one step. It can be collapsed by pressing an appropriate button. It also features an easy, foot-activated break that's easy to set up and release.

The handle is lower than the majority of the strollers we have tested, and some parents might find it uncomfortable to use for long periods. It does have a handle lock to keep it in place when opened, though. This is a great feature to have in case you are planning to use the stroller over uneven or gravelly terrain.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow stroller is the ideal travel stroller for parents who are constantly on the move. This compact stroller is easy to fold down and up, and fits easily in overhead compartments on planes and in trunks at the amusement park (no worries about parking charges). It also comes with an easy-zip carrying bag for easy storage. It can be used right from birth with the infant car seat adapter, and provides a decent amount of shade thanks to its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only drawback for certain parents is that they consider the look cheap and utilitarian.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ stroller is more expensive than other lightweight combi single stroller strollers. It was designed specifically for urban living and luxurious travel. It's one of the smallest strollers that fold (and comes with a handy carry case) and comes with plenty of storage space, including the cup holder. The seat is comfortable for both the adult and child, and reclines to a nearly flat position. This is the only stroller on our list that comes with an adapter for car seats that can allow it to be used with infants. Some parents with shorter legs might not appreciate the handlebar that isn't adjustable.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the lightest stroller, but it has a lot of amazing features that make traveling with children easier. The spacious seat reclines to a pretty flat position, and it comes with additional padding to make the naps on planes last longer. The canopy extends to provide a lot of sun coverage, and the parent tray has plenty of storage. It also features an adjustable footrest that can double as a handle when folded. This footrest is vulnerable to damage by baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Mini V2

Uppababy Minu V2 is a stylish stroller with high-end design and quality. Its compact design allows it to easily maneuver through narrow streets and tight spaces, but its sturdy construction lets it handle rough terrain without compromising comfort of your child. Front and rear spring-action suspensions provide an incredibly comfortable ride for both of you, while its sturdy materials ensure it can stand up to every day wear and tear without losing its shape. Additionally it can be enlarged to accommodate additional accessories like baby car seat.

Even with a baby on the way, the Minu was very easy to fold and move around. Its squat fold, which can be divided into three sections was among the easiest we tested. This allows it to be easily tucked away in overhead compartments of airplanes and on public transport. It also features a single seat stroller-action brake with color coded that's simple to use.

The seat reclines in multiple positions and the leg rest can be adjusted with one hand, making it simple to find your child's ideal position. The UPF 50+ hood came down quite far, which was great to shield Cora's eyes from the sun (though not as low as other strollers). There is also a medium-sized mesh peek-a-boo window that closes magnetically and adheres to the canopy, rather than using noisy Velcro.

The Minu weighs less than 15 pounds and has an integrated handle that makes it easy for transport. It also comes with an adjustable shoulder strap. 5. Joovy Aire

Joovy is the well-known brand of strollers offers several models. This lightweight stroller is an excellent choice for parents who are looking for a sturdy stroller that can transport their children. It is simple to move, has plenty of storage, and is easy to fold. This model isn't suitable for those looking for a double stroller or a car-seat compatible model. It isn't compatible with infant car seats. Your baby should be able to sit upright on their backs before you can use it.

This stroller is brimming with features and is offered at a price that is very reasonable. It scored higher in our maneuverability test than other models with similar specifications. It's also a great option for smooth surfaces. It also comes with a great canopy and plenty of storage including a large tray for parents. The front wheel suspension is a bit stiff, and the handlebar is smaller than the norm, but it provides a comfortable ride for adults.

If you have twins or two kids with different ages, you may consider a stroller that is side-by-side is the best single travel stroller way to get them around. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove. It has a lot of features and a small footprint that allows it to fit in places where other side-byside strollers won't.

It has individually reclining seats as well as a large canopy that has an opening window that can be seen from afar and lots of storage. It's a bit heavier than other side-bysides, but it has a decent capacity for weight and can be used by children up to 50 lbs. You can also add a bassinet to front of the stroller for infants.

If you're looking for an even more luxurious version of this stroller the Caboose RS Sit and Stand Stroller is an excellent alternative. It has the same great features and is able to be fitted with a bassinet so that you can bring your baby home in style from the hospital.
