Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of good robot vacuum vacuums and mops can be customized using a specialized app to save your home's maps as well as set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power and how much water the mop is using.

A mapping feature can help your robot navigate through rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function prevents it from running into wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These features are essential in my home that is filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, so it naturally comes packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and raise its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to identify pets plants, small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is the highest power of any other robot cleaner with mop vacuum we've examined so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping function is impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad for a deep clean. It also has mop lifter that lifts the pad automatically as it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop- and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tried.

It's a robust and well-rounded product with its only downsides being that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features makes it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We highly recommend this model for those who can afford the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop (address here) combination. The price is justified by its robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two mop heads that gyrate. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my testing it did very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no tangling. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as an effective dose of cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its innovative docking station that is multi-functional. The dock empties its dustbin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank for the mopping function and even dry its mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time safety detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tried and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads sold separately will also need to be changed periodically.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a tight budget I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to note that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can find, its high purchase cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a wish than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and get rid of dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity for both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It even comes with an automatic vacuum cleaner mop that cleans itself while moving and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean in order to rinse off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage bin. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

As with most robot vacuums and mop combinations, the S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. It must be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do by cleaning the dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to choose to use this feature you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal choice of cleaners.

Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map a space and navigated around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with longer piles several times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, and it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is ideal for removing pet hair and debris on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is complex, and offers many options for customizing the cleaning robot mop and vacuum process. You can choose to manually clean the entire area that are mapped by this device, or choose individual rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've developed. There are many mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the area.

Like all the Roborock models we've evaluated The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is efficient by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat way. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, with no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it may not be able detect smaller objects such as rug tassels and electrical wires.

This device has a major issue: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can use the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and traces that remained after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its competitors with lower prices.
