The Band Toto Asia

Toto was expanding its production facilities overseas and was doing business in France, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. Line-up

The album's third, Turn Back, marked an reversion to the classic sextet arrangement of previous albums. It was a more powerful, consistent effort with a harder edge than Hydra. The more experimental sound of Turn Back was a reflection of the growth of the band. The drummer Bobby Kimball's increasing proficiency was evident in the vocals of Joseph Williams, who had become more confident and mature.
