WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boosts in certain statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item upgrades by 3. A random additional substat is also added to each upgrade.

The more modernized gear generally has a greater value for trade regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or a very high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. The item used to upgrade the Best item upgrader will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.

They can be purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for various currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor. button, which will display an image of the item when it is upgraded when the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the item upgrader kit and the current item level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers, for instance.
