World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the weapon's upgrade template is %, it will gain an additional 3% of the previous attack damage every time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item increases as it reaches the item's current level. The cost increases with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into weapons, armor, and trinkets in order to provide an additional stat boost or impact while they're being used. These can be obtained by crafting, buying from vendors or trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades also come with specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment with a slot. The item must be upgraded to blue before a component can be used. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and enrichments are a specific kind of upgrade component used for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment as well as the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging gear from the ascended, or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may have a prefix or suffix, modifying the name of the equipment with the upgrade (for instance 'Canthan Armor Insignia' becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players create stronger versions of that equipment using the smallest amount of Upgrade Crystals than is required to achieve the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defence characteristics of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades are available to be made from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. They can also be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear or purchasing them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals per.

The player can have a maximum of five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-level version of the item will drop in the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to continue upgrading their gear even if they're uncertain of how much it will increase after a future reset.

If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process may be expensive, and there is a substantial possibility that the item will become obsolete or even break if it fails; a failed upgrade will ruin Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. This is reduced by the availability of cash shop items to increase or even eliminate the chances of failure, and a few upgrades that give an additional benefit when they are inserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in special sockets. Glyphs buff the power of all nodes in their radius as well as existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded various ways, and we suggest upgrading them to 15 levels as soon as possible.

You will often find in the endgame that placing Glyphs is a great way to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade components which can be upgraded to level 15 and provide significant boosts to your power on the Paragon Board.

Glyphs, the sole upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and then replaced again, are the most common. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and re-placed with the aid of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

Each Glyph has a specific range of values can enhance a stat by. The value is shown when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you'll require them to be put on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a special bonus that boosts the stats of a particular set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats, based on the Glyph.

The use of a Glyph can boost all nodes that are connected to it, so it is recommended to position your Glyphs near the most important nodes of the Graph to maximize the impact. Leveling

The item upgrade system allows players to increase the effectiveness of certain items by introducing upgraded components. This is referred to as "upping". Every upgradeable item is assigned a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum level of 385. Each item upgrader mod level requires various components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a specific ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or obtained from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed results in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to leveling up an item. Once enough points are earned, you will be able to claim your upgrade and also receive the bonuses.

When the player upgrades an item to a higher level, the original item is replaced by a new item of the same type. The same armor can be transformed into a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item will also have a unique bonus. This can be a disadvantage, as it can make the item more expensive, even if you don't need it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, if the player has enough tokens in order to do this. The item will be replaced with a brand new one that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This can be useful for certain items, however it's not something that should be repeated often, as it can waste many resources.

Some upgrades can increase their value and allow players to modify their equipment. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or swims like dolphins). It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time increasing the maximum roll by 10 points. This item is very useful in PvP. A well-rolled version can be worth up to 50x the value of a non-upgraded version.

Requirements

The upgrade of items allows players to increase the quality of their equippable gear--armor, weapons and trinkets above ilvl 385--by presenting the appropriate currency and items to an item upgrader NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase its base defense, while upgrades to weapon items increase their base damage as well as their strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded a maximum of five times, with the exception of hero gear, which can have eight upgrades. Every time you upgrade an item it is given an opportunity to fail. The rate of failure increases as you go beyond the maximum number of upgrades. Failures can cause the item to go to its initial condition, which requires the user to spend more materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the highest number of upgrades.

If an item does not upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. Additionally, the item will lose any bonuses it gained, including crit chance and attack damage, and all additional effects associated with that effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or reload speed). The player can continue to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded receives a crit chance boost it will be applied before any damage to attack increases. A new attribute called Slots has been added to the definition of the item and the value is computed every time an upgrade is made.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost for upgrading non-premium items is the same as the base value of the upgrade. For example, a common equipment item might have 5 upgrades, each costing 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with the lowest cost for each upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they might require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. The player will still need to bring every piece of equipment they wish to upgrade to the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade of equipment will require different amounts of ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the expenses listed above.
