Greenpower power Mobility - All-Energy Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicles

Greenpower creates manufactures and distributes a variety of medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicles. This includes school buses, cargo buses, and shuttles.

GreenPower Motor Power electric scooter Company manufactures a complete line of heavy and medium-duty all-electric vehicles, including high-floor and lower-floor models. The EV Star Cab & Chassis is their most popular vehicle and green Power mobility reviews it is able to be adapted to suit a wide range of applications. The design of the platform is based on a clear sheet of paper, which allows for optimum placement of the battery pack and a lower center-of-gravity. This results in higher range/payload ratios.

The EV Star REEFERX is designed to serve mid-to-last mile refrigerated delivery as well as catering applications. The refrigerated truck's class 4 configuration's one wall structure in the interior and higher insulation than traditional trucks enable seamless sanitation, improved temperature control and a longer life. The EV Star REEFERX offers superior capacity for cargo and a top payload-to-range ratio for zero-emission passenger and green power cargo transportation.

GreenPower partnered with Perrone Robotics in order to equip the EV Star with TONY (To navigate you) autonomous vehicle systems. This will allow fleets to make the transition to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star can also be wirelessly charging up to 75 kW.

We were capable of testing the EV9 on an unpaved highway for several hours, and found it to be easy to drive and comfortable to drive over long distances. The ride is smooth over bumps and ruts, while the EV9 is a master of reducing the sound of traffic and wind on the highway. The acceleration of the vehicle is astonishingly quick, and it has adjustable regenerative brakes that allow "one-pedal driving" simply by lifting off the accelerator.

The EV9 has a great range and can be fully recharged in about three hours at home or using any commercial charger. Drivers can select between two modes of operation: eco mode and sports mode. Eco mode focuses on the cruise control and torque while the sport mode is designed to maximize speed and handling. Both are fun to drive and provide an unique experience for anyone who has never been in an electric vehicle before.

In addition to the EV9, GreenPower has several other e-vehicle offerings such as a multi-purpose, all-electric mini bus called the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA-compliant and can be used for executive shuttles, Electric Mobility Scooter Fastest microtransit and transit buses, vanpools, or paratransit vehicles.

GreenPower is currently producing around 10 EV Star buses per month for the Jacksonville Transit Authority, which is attempting to replace their fleet of diesel vehicles with 100 fully electric vehicles. With the Biden Administration planning to electrify schools across the nation, GreenPower plans on ramping production to meet demand. Their EV Star buses are the first of their kind to be Altoona tested and FMVSS certified, Buy America compliant, and ADA certified. This makes them eligible for federal transit grants.
