Newest iRobot Roomba Robots

iRobot's latest robots can map your house and utilize their cameras to identify small obstacles like shoes, cords and pet debris. The Combo J9+ automatically fills its water tank when it is sent on a mopping journey which is a major improvement over previous models which required manual emptying and refilling the tanks.

The Roomba S9+

The s9+ is a premium robotic vacuum that can also be used as a mop. Its features are integrated into a stylish new design. It cleans around corners and along edges. It also maps your home and self-empties.

The s9+ comes with powerful motors that can provide 40x more suction3 than previous Irobots. It also detects carpeted surfaces, which triggers Power Boost to deep clean. Its automatic dirt recognition is extremely accurate and can distinguish a small toy or dust particle from one another which prevents the toy from getting stuck.

Once the s9+ is filled with debris it returns to its dock in a controlled manner and then emptys its contents by taking them out of its large bin. This sound effect, which is like an engine that is taking off, takes only just a few seconds and can be scheduled through the Irobot application.

This robot is distinguished from its competition by a new navigational feature called Imprint Smart Mapping. This advanced technology uses sensors to scan the area digitally, up to 25 times per second. It lets it map your home more precisely and avoid hitting obstacles. The s9+ also comes with PerfectEdge technology that allows it to create intricate edges, like the Ikea-renovated kitchen cabinets in my house.

Connecting to WiFi and setting up the s9+ is easy although it may take a few tries before the app can locate your home. The dashboard and home page are easy to navigate once it has located your home. You can choose from a wide range of functions such as a detailed schedule and mopping preferences.

The s9+ can be programmed to perform two or one passes, or you can choose "room-size clean," which balances room size and time to complete the task quicker. It has dual multi-surface brush, which grab dust and debris on carpets and hard floors. A side brush is used to sweep corners and edges. The Roomba J9+

The m6 comes with a cleaning base, a washable wool mop pad, two disposable paper-towelling pads an iRobot-branded sample bottle hard floor cleaner and a battery pack. It's available in white or black and costs $399 online. The m6 also qualifies for the 3-year warranty offered by iRobot.
