Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

robot cleaner with mop vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They pass our tests on cleaning and can handle various flooring. Look for models that let you choose from a variety of modes, and use their charging dock to self-empty and clean up stairs.

A lot of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an app that lets you save maps, create schedules and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of rooms and floors.

When I tested the S1, it was quick to map our downstairs, which is home to linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It easily drove close to walls without hitting them and even managed to traverse thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, but it sometimes struggled to get down stairs in a single step. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on the flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or rugs.

The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and fills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for around 12 cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although it will differ based on how much you use the mop.

The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to prevent it from clogging. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs' all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is an efficient solution for your cleaning requirements. Its robot vacuum boasts 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning to avoid obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of simply drag a pad across a surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.

This robot combo has an easy-to-use interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or refilled. It also has a number of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily picks up most of the debris, and even tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it does sometimes get hung in the small carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual boundary in the app). The mopping capabilities are quite excellent, too, with two spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub floors, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned with hot water and dried in the basestation as needed. Mops can also be filled at the top of the station if required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship best robot vacuum mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure that an effective, customized cleaning is completed.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests efficiently by avoiding pet hairs as well as other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that is placed along baseboards.

Its navigation is smart, navigating tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It can go from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. 4. Roomba Q5 Pro

A robot vacuum does an excellent job of picking up dirt and debris however, it's not able to get every last piece of dust. It's important to vacuum often, at least once a week. This is particularly important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your daily cleaning routine.

The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's more pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's less expensive because it doesn't have mopping capabilities and comes with plastic body.

Despite losing the ability to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot at this price. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic vacuum cleaner empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also has a clever app that lets you set your floor type and schedule cleanings. It also has an best automatic vacuum refill of the water tank and wash system to allow hands-free operation.

Its mops are also impressive, with a 2700Pa capacity to tackle dirt and pet hair, on both carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any issues with high-pile carpets or area rugs, but it couldn't clean up cables or kitty litter that's not a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also has a unique mapping system that helps it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums cannot. The K10 Plus also has the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters which can further cut costs. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if required. You can also mark areas you would like to keep out of the app.
